What we look for during an inspection|
What is inspected? All visual parts of the home as shown in this diagram.
A home inspection is an objective examination of your home's condition from the roof to the foundation. It typically includes visual inspection of the condition of the home's major systems, roof, attic, wall, ceilings, floors, openings, foundation, basement, and more.
A home inspection allows buyers and sellers to accurately make intelligent decisions about the homes value and condition prior to buying or selling.
It is important to hire a professional inspector to perform the home inspection. A qualified inspector is able to spot issues that even the most experienced homeowner is not trained to spot. Remember, a home can not fail a home inspection and no house is perfect; the inspection is a detailed report of your home's condition, not an appraisal.
You should hire a home inspector once you have signed a purchase agreement.
